HEY. So I'm listed as exceptionally outgoing, essentially across the board, which I agree with. Otherwise, I felt like the information gained from these results was too easily manipulated. I often struggled between choosing the answer I'd like to be true and one which might be more reflective of my actual personality. As a rule I think such personality test questions which are too transparent fail to provide much information in the actual result--most of what was to be learned came from which questions gave me trouble. For instance, I believe myself to be empathetic. But how I might measure up to the societal mean? I don't know.

I took the Big Five Mini Test and found it to be semi accurate and I like the way it was set up.

I took the Big 5 Test and the shyness test. I found the results to be somewhat accurate, I don't really think that these online tests have very much validity. There is no way that two sets of thirty questions can determine all of the complexities that are in a personality. While these tests were fun and interesting to take, I do not think they were truly accurate. They did, however, provide me with a better understanding of the "Big Five" traits when I compared my results with my answers and applied the definition.
ReplyDeleteAbby 3rd
First I took the Big Five Personality Test. I thought that it was valid because it did have me rate how much subcategories with in the big five related to me. However, I do not think that this test was reliable. First of all, there were a significant number of traits and many that were very similar to each other, such as envious and jealous and ordinary and average, making it hard to know exactly what you are supposed to be rating. Also, since this quiz had you directly rate how much each trait applied to you, it made it easier for people, even unintentionally, to choose numbers that would make the outcome of the test more favorable. The second test I took was the shyness test. It was fairly valid, although it gave results as a number in the categories of independent and interdependent. Although these factors are related to shyness, it did not directly tell you how shy you were based on your traits. This test was reliable though because it asked you certain questions about your thoughts and actions and then interpreted your results, instead of directly have you rate certain traits.

I did the Big Five test as well, and saw some accuracy...it's hard to accurately score or rate yourself though. Sam 3rd
ReplyDeleteI feel like these tests were pretty good. They sort of reflected reality. The results that I got were kind of same as I expected them to be. The second version of the "BIG FIVE" test gave me a more satisfying results than did the other tests. Overall, the tests results were interesting.
ReplyDeleteDurga Pd:3
I took the big five test and the uniqueness test. In my opinion the big five test did not accurately portray my personality and it was a poorly set up test. I also believe that the uniqueness test was not very accurate, therefore I believe both of these tests were not very valid. I think part of the reason why these tests were not accurate is because you have a tendency to answer how you would like to be and not how you really are.
ReplyDeletePeriod 3, Zach C.
I took the morality and shyness test. The results were fairly accurate for me. I think the test would be more reliable if the questions had given you specific situations that you had to choose a response for. This would allow the test to analyze exactly how you would respond to a given situation instead of asking general questions which give only a small sample of a person's personality.
ReplyDeleteWeber 3rd
These tests are not truly very reliable or valid. I mean they are fun to take but they are so open ended and general in statements that they could apply to anyone. People answer how they want to be viewed and interpret the results how they want. These low level and short tests are not accurate for determining personality.
ReplyDeletePeriod 3 Luke
I took the how unique are you? and shyness test. I believe these two test were accurate and the results really made me think about the type of person that I am. The two seemed to ask the same exact questions and the questions within each test kind of overlapped. So maybe the accuracy of the test is not that high.
ReplyDeleteEarly period 3
Took the Big Five and Morality, which were kind of boring, but portrayed me pretty accurately or at least how i think of myself. The questions are pretty basic, so I'm not sure if they could be considered too valid. For the most part, they seem alright.
ReplyDeletePeriod 3 Jeremy
I took the big five test and it seemed relatively accurate for me. I rated highest on the extraversion area which makes sense to me because I'm talkative and enthusiastic about most things. I enjoy being surrounded by many people and having fun. I would rather be with people I like for every hour of the day than be alone. I am also very prone to boredom when I am on my own and being around friends makes me more energetic and happy overall. These tests do seem to be somewhat invalid because it is hard to rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 on how "temperamental" or "warm" you are. I feel as if that is left up to be decided by others. I also feel self- absorbed when rating myself about certain characteristics.
ReplyDelete3rd Period: Hannah H
I took the Big Five Personality Test, the Shyness Test, Find Your Star Wars Twin, and How Unique Are You. I thought they were entertaining to complete, although I don't think they were always very accurate. For one thing, studies have shown peers are more accurate at characterizing one's behavior than oneself, so even though I tried to answer the questions as accurately as possible, some of them were tough for me to choose an answer for.
ReplyDeleteI think that some of the tests are probably pretty reliable in that they have consistent results testing lots of different people, but I highly doubt their validity. It's difficult to pin down one aspect of a person's personality such as shyness; even if a lot of people that are considered shy get that result, they probably exhibit different kinds and levels of shyness that may not be accurately reflected by the test.
I think the most accurate test that I took was probably the Big Five one since it uses multiple traits to describe you. I don't think people can be described by one isolated trait, but are complex beings made up of a combination and the interactions of many different traits. The Big Five test probably would have even more validity if the test was longer.
The Star Wars test was fun, but I doubt its validity. It's hard to relate alien creatures to people, even if they exhibit human-like characteristics. Also, while some Star Wars characters are pretty three dimensional, many of them are not. Star Wars does not have the most realistic characters ever created, in my opinion. I did think it was cool that I was most like Yoda, though.
I don't think the uniqueness test is very valid because I consider myself a unique individual and want to be unique, but I scored very low on that test. I'm a peacemaker and don't like to pick fights with people, but that doesn't mean I'm just a conformist. That was the one test where I strongly disagreed with the result I received. I don't think the questions accurately describe uniqueness; instead they describe how headstrong someone is and/or opinionated.
Kelci 3rd
Comment part two: I liked the way that the test gave you similar personality traits so that they can get an average. I found it to be fairly accurate and i like the style but it could be better by adding more questions and maybe a section where you have someone else rate you and then take the average.
ReplyDeleteJake Period 3
So I took the Big5, Shyness and Freak test. All were pretty accurate. The freak test said I was only a 40% freak which was refreshing. Didn't quite understand how to interpret the shyness test but I think it told me that I am moderately shy which makes sense. The Big 5 test was possibly the most accurate test saying that I am very open, highly extraverted as well as overly aggreeable. I mean thats pretty accurate from what I know of myself and what people tell me. Im not a huge fan of taking these tests but these were alright and decently accurate
ReplyDeleteAddie R3
Some of these tests are definitely better than others. I started by taking the Star Wars test, which was fun, and provided the test-taker with characters that you could base your results on. However, the questions within this test were rather vague. Also, with the total results being distributed across five different characters, I didn't get a clear understanding of what my personality really was--I apparently have a great likeness to both heroes and villains, whose personalities differ greatly. While this test made me laugh, it did not provide insight into my personality. With this initial letdown, I moved on to the morality test. Not only is this test much longer, but it is much more thorough in its questions and its results. This test asked questions that actually made me think and look inside myself for the answer. I believe that this test can actually receive different answers from each test-taker, and provide a good picture of that person's characteristics. Therefore, this test, unlike the Star Wars one, is both reliable and valid.
ReplyDeletePeriod 3 Austin
I took the the big five personality test, the shyness test, the other big five test, the how unique are you test, and the morality test. I found that my results were consistent on similar tests. On both big five personality tests, I ranked high on the social/openness traits and calmness and low on organization. The shyness test backed up the social results of the previous tests. I found that the how unique test was somewhat flawed because it factors in your need to belong and how social you are into one ranking. It does not put into consideration the fact that someone could be social without having a need for other people. Because of this, I scored an even 50%. The morality test incorporated many religious and political factors that may not have been completely relevant to personality, but overall, it seemed accurate.
ReplyDeleteSam Melton 3rd
I took the shyness test, the Big Five Personality test, and the second "Big Five Personality Traits" test and both of the Big Five tests gave me similar results, indicating that they are probably more valid since I got the same result twice. The Shyness test was a little repetitive because it asks you similar questions just worded differently or it asks you one question and then later on in the test it asks you the opposite of the same question above. Its also hard to rate things on a 1-9 scale because sometimes I can't decide how strongly I agree or disagree on that scale, but it is better than having just a Agree or Disagree button. Although the experience was over all accurate and useful.
ReplyDelete^Dajana pd. 5
ReplyDeleteThe first test I took was the Big Five Mini test. It returned results that were expected except that all of the numbers were high. None of my traits were in the low section and it seems like some traits should be significantly lower than others. The test would not be reliable even for me, I feel like if I were to take it again I would put in different numbers. It is generally valid but isn't specific enough to have applicable results.
ReplyDeleteThe second test I took was the morality test. It was so long that by the end I just wanted to be done with it, which could throw off reliability. The validity seems pretty good except that it told me I was closed minded. I think that has hints of truth but not to the extent that it told me. The initial questions asking about morality were occasionally difficulty worded which could hurt some people who don't know the vocab. Also it only gives you the morality results in relation to other people, and in some cases that other people who are taking this are going to be a small select group of people.
Bushy Blond Haired Kid - 5th
I took the Morality test, the Big 5 Personality test and the Star Wars twin quiz. For all the quizzes I got accurate answers and they seemed pretty reliable. Some of the questions were hard to answer on a scale of 1 to 9 but for the most part they enable you to study your own personality.

I think that these quizes are very valid and i think that they are fairly reliable. They were right on target in terms of my personality in real life and what they said that I am. I enjoyed taking these quizes because it is interesting to see what they think that I am. Ryan Pd.5.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the first Big Five Test is more accurate than the second. In the first one you have a scale from 1-10 to answer on, and the questions are more clear and direct. The second only has a scale from 1-5, and many of the questions include words like "sometimes" and "occasionally"- which people feel a lot more comfortable giving scores for, but gives less determinable results.

First off, I hate all these tests because they're wrong. Second, I took the star wars test which was pretty bad, and was not accurate, but hey how do I know the characters any better. The how unique am I test was better, I'd say it was accurate, but I still think I could learn more about myself by looking in the mirror.
ReplyDeleteAll these tests are not useful because they try to compensate for a broad amount of people, not me so it's wrong, yes? YES
Reliability and Validity to me is at the average rate for personality tests...0
Roddy, 5th
While I enjoyed taking these tests, I do not think they are valid or reliable. It is hard to be able to judge your own personality in these quizzes because sometimes the way we feel about our selves is not accurate. While I felt the tests were coming up with responses accurate to what I was putting in, I still find it is hard to tell if what I am saying is correct.
ReplyDeleteCourtney, Period 5
The first test I took was the "big five test". This test was pretty valid because it allowed there to be ranges based on how closely you align with the characteristic. I thought, however, that it was hard to decide how extreme I was in my characteristics.
ReplyDeleteThe second test I took, the morality test, was not as fun as the first one. It took a really long time and I don't think it was very valid because I do not completely agree with the answer it gave me.
The third test I took, the star wars one, was excellent. Even though it had the exact same questions as the last question in the second test I took, it said I was Lando Calrissian... BEST DAY EVER! Also, I thought it was pretty reliable and valid. It was accurate because I agree with the answers and find that they fit my personality correctly.

I took the big five test, the star wars twin test, and the millionaire test. The big five test and star wars test were decently accurate, saying I am sociable and relaxed, although it is hard to be valid after responding to a small amount of questions. Im sure all of these tests are reliable because they probably use the same scoring system every time, although I do question the validity because of how complex personalities are. The millionaire test said I have millionaire potential which makes me happy but I doubt one 15 question test can determine that.
ReplyDeleteShane 5th
I took multiple tests but I liked the stress test on bbc website and it was very interesting. It says that I am stressed and I do agree with it. So i think it could be valid and reliable. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteKyle 5
I thought that the Big Five Quiz was really interesting and seemed to describe me pretty well. It should be pretty reliable if you answer the same for every quiz like it, but it might not be valid if you don't answer truthfully. The Morality Quiz was really hard and complicated and didn't make that much sense. I also do not agree that I'm a close-minded person so I do not think it was valid. I did not understand everything it was talking about so I needed help from my friends to understand what they were asking. For the Stars Wars Quiz, I was Obi Won Kenobi which I thought was pretty accurate by the description it gave of how it got the conclusion of agreeableness.
ReplyDeleteOlivia Period 5
On the majority of these tests the results were pretty reliable and pretty much valid. On quizzes with harder, more specific questions the results were somewhat off but still accurate enough, this is probably due to me not knowing what answer to put. Dorothy 5th
ReplyDeleteI took the shyness, uniqueness, disgust, and star wars twin test. The results are fairly consistent and are thus pretty reliable. I agreed with my results, but they don't seem like they will always be valid in general as they don't take in to account how one acts in different situations, and the questions seemed too black and white at times. It is also general to rate oneself in general, and peers and those around you tend to do a better job of describing your personality, and I had a hard time choosing the most inclusive, rather than ideal options.
ReplyDeleteRitchie 5th
Some of my test results seemed to contradict themselves. For example, the first "Big 5" test indicated that I have a 'high' level of extraversion; however, the Star Wars test told me that I 'don't typically seek out new experiences.' I was further confused by contradictory evidence withing the Star Wars test itself, which told me that I was extremely outgoing and social, though unwilling to seek new experiences. Perhaps these two are unrelated, but to me they seem as if they would go hand-in-hand well. The Freak Uniqueness test told me that I tend to be quiet and need to conform, although the Art and Personality test told me I had a very high agreeableness score. Therefore, I feel as if I should have some sort of vicious internal conflict between the supposed introverted part and the extroverted part of me. But I don't. I would agree most with the first Big 5, on which I scored 'high' on all the elements (extraversion, agreeable, conscientiousness, stability, openess). Also, the Art and Personality test on the BBC told me I should like cubism. And I really hate cubism. Sarah pd 5.

I did not like this activity. It took me 20 minutes to get on a computer and these tests took too long and did not give fantastic results. ReplyDeleteThese test were all very enjoyable and interesting, but I do not think they were very valid. Personality is very complex and it is hard to determine someones personality through quizzes like these. My results were fairly accurate though

These tests were pretty fun, but became too long and boring after a while. They were not very reliable because my scores differed. They seemed accurate sometimes, but I did not always agree with them.
ReplyDeleteKirsteb 5th
Taking all these tests was really fun, thanks for letting us take them, Mr. Turner =) The two big five tests gave me fairly similar results, making them a reliable method of evaluating my personality. In terms of accuracy, however, I'm not so sure about these results. The questions weren't designed to evaluate your personality; they asked you to evaluate your own personality. For instance, asking me if I'm organized would say more about how I perceive my organization skills, not what they actually are. If I receive results saying that I'm an extremely bitter and critical person (which I did, actually.... ouch...), isn't that based off of how I view myself? However, I very much enjoyed taking these tests. When I struggled to answer some questions, it made me think about myself and what I really think about myself. The BBC tests, including the disgust test and the artwork test, perhaps didn't test my overarching personality, but did help me to better understand how I interact with the world around me. Overall, this activity was engaging and a worthwhile experience.

I took the Big 5 Personality Test, the Morality test and the "Which Sex is Your Brain?" test. I thought the Big 5 test was reliable because I would probably score the same each time, but I do not think it is only somewhat valid, because the words are limiting. I thought the Morality test was both reliable and valid, because it asked in-depth questions at varying degrees, therefore accurately reflecting my personal values. I thought the, "Which Sex is Your Brain?"test was neither reliable or valid because the questions, especially in the photographic attractiveness section, could produce a wide variety of results that would not always correlate. At a different time, I might have different results on a number of the sections. Overall, I though this activity was enjoyable and interesting, but only some of the results were accurate.

I took the Big 5 Personality Test and How Unique Are You Test. I found both tests quite interesting even though some of the questions were repetitive. Most of the results were not accurate at all which sort of surprised me considering the fact I have heard so much about personality tests and how overly accurate they are. However on the Big 5 personality test I scored high on Openness which I definitely agree with since I am always open to different ideas and experiences. I don’t think the tests were valid or reliable because there is more to personality than just taking a minute test to validate what you might already know...

I took the morality test, the how unique are you, and the Big 5 (the prettier one). The results were all pretty much the same. Apparently I am pretty closed minded, which I didnt think was something that described me, but oh well it happens. Im outgoing though haha. I think the tests are pretty reliable, however I am hesitant to believe their accuracy.

I took the Big Five Quiz and it was really interesting! I thought it was pretty reliable and described me pretty well. However, they might not be that valid if you didn't answer the questions truthfully. The scale was only based out of 5 so it might not have measured me to the best of its ability. But, I thought the big five did reasonably well in evaluating me and I found it really fun!
ReplyDeleteLindsay Pd. 2
I took the "Another Big Five Test" and the "How Unique are You?" test along with the Fake Smile test. Overall, I really enjoyed taking these tests and I thought a lot of the questions were interesting. I am not sure how reliable these tests are because the questions were generally really broad and the results oversimplified my personality. Also can your personality really be judged just by these tests? My results were somewhat accurate so I would say the test was valid in the fact that they tested what they were supposed to test!
ReplyDelete- Jen 2nd period
I took the Morality Test, How Unique are You? and The Necker Cube Personality Test.
ReplyDeleteI would think the Morality Test would be rather reliable because of the extensiveness of the questions. I found the Morality Test not valid at all in terms of political views, as I scored as 93% conservative when I consider myself to have liberal views. The test was more valid on personality aspects in my opinion, as it portrayed me as slightly introverted and slightly high-strung.
The Unique test seems fairly reliable as well, and I agreed with the results of the tests: I don't have a need to be unique, but I tested 76% likely not to conform.
The Necker Cube test was fun, but wasn't really useful. It only had 8 questions, so the reliability may not be the highest. It also gave me the result of being both introverted and extroverted, which isn't a very definitive result...
Tony Pd. 2
All of these tests were fun to take. However, the Big Five Personality test did not seem very reliable or valid. It seems that most people would tend to rate themselves with favorable traits, so it does not measure what it should. It was also not a long enough test to be very reliable. The Morality Test seemed both reliable and valid because I got the results that I expected.
ReplyDeleteThe Fake Smile test was very interesting, and I scored much better than I thought. The Disgusting test might have burned some unpleasant images into my mind. I may be scarred for life.

I took the "Find your star wars twin" test, the "Are you a freak?" test and the BBC Necker Cube test. In the "Star wars twin test" It said that I match up with Lando Calrissian! Aweeeesome. I took the Star Wars twin test, the How Unique Are You test, and the Necker Cube test. The results were all about different things. The first one said I'm traditional (C-3PO), neither oraganized or disorganized (Grand Moff Tarkin), neither sociable or reserved (Ewoks), I tend to consider other's feelings (Qui-Gon Jinn), and I'm calm in tense situations (Princess Leia). The second one said I'm 51% a freak. The last one said I'm both an introvert and an extrovert. I would say all of those results seem pretty accurate.

Out of the two tests I took, I thought the big five test was the most accurate. In general, I agreed with my results. With the disgust test, I agree that most people tend to be disgusted with things that have greater potential to cause disease, however I don't think I would have come up with that correlation on my own. I took the Big Five Test and the How Unique are you test. I found them both to be pretty right to describe me but I don't think they were very valid. Personality shouldn't be judged on answers given online since people could lie about them and their aren't enough questions to get a full personality result.
ReplyDeleteMaggie 2nd
I took the Star Wars Twin, Shyness, and Big Five Mini tests. I scored in the 40%-60% ranges for all three. I feel like this can most likely be attributed to the way the tests are set up; having us rate them on how much we agree or disagree with various statements. I feel like I was rated in the middle range for most of them because as I was taking the tests I noticed myself typically answering either exactly in the middle or slightly to either side depending on the question. The fact that so many questions used "always" or "never" made it very hard for me to agree or disagree fully. Overall I think that the Star Wars Twin test described me the best.

ReplyDeleteI took the Big Five Test and The Morality Test. I found the Big Five Test to be very accurate. It described me the way I thought it was going to. The Morality Test was less accurate in my opinion. It got my Personality quite well but it did not accurately depict my moral attitudes. As for the validity, I don't think these tests are very valid. Personality shouldn't be judged online because people can lie and fudge the results to get their desired outcome. There also are not, in my opinion, enough questions to get a true idea of a person's personality.
I took the Star Wars Twin, Morality, and Big Five tests. I scored right around 50% on all sections of the big five test, with slightly less anxiety and a little more close-mindedness. That was about how i would characterize myself. My favorite test was the morality one, and I think it did the best job describing me politically and personality-wise. Some of the questions were difficult because of the ultimatums they had, so i was always answering in the middle.

ReplyDeleteI took the big five test and the morality test. I think the morality test was the most accurate because of how lengthy it was and how many categories it surveyed in. I do not believe that these tests are accurate though and I feel that if someone else were taking it that knew us well based on how they view us it would be more accurate because we answer only how we percieve ourselves.
The first one i took was about the 5 traits (prettier). I answered all the questions truthfully but didnt not find the outcome to be very relivant and accurate to who i am. however, on the BBC website the sensation seeking quiz was very accurate in regards to my personality. It was an interesting experience and I would like to take more of the quizzes another time.
ReplyDeleteI took the Star Wars and Big Five tests, which had a lot of the same questions. Although I answered them identically, I ended up with different results for each test, which makes me doubt their validity.

I took both Big Five Tests, the shyness test, and the uniqueness test. The results of the Big Five Tests were similar, so the tests are probably fairly accurate. I disagreed with the results of the shyness and uniqueness tests. I do not think that these tests are valid because it is difficult to accurately assess someone's personality using an online test. The first few tests were interesting, but after I took two they became tedious and monotonous.
ReplyDeleteJessica 6th
I took the pretty big five test and the uniqueness test. Neither of the tests results were not very surprising. I have never really trusted the validity of these types of tests because most of the time my personality depends on my mood and the current events and situation. So if my mood was different some of my answers might have shifted more along that line.

I took both of the Big 5 Personality tests and generally found the results to be the same. They described me well and I feel confident that most people would get accurate results. However it is hard to say what "accurate" really is, because what we think of ourselves and how others perceive us don't always match up. Also, in order to make these tests more accurate, it would be better if there were more questions that generally got narrower into each category of personality. Doing this would give people more detailed descriptions of their personality and could potentially show how these traits affect the way they behave.
ReplyDeleteTacky Sweater Girl 6th
I took the Big Five test and How Unique are You test, and I thought they were pretty accurate. But I disagreed on how the morality test gauged my openness, for they rated me very close minded. I have very atheistic and nihilistic beliefs, and the survey definitely picked up on that. But if the questions were less about what I believe and my religious background and more about how I view others and their beliefs, the program would have realized that I am actually very open to hearing other people's stances, and I truly enjoy learning about religion and educated myself. To have strong beliefs, you need to hear other people's beliefs as well because you can only form opinions on comparison to others. Just because I am ready to strongly defend my views, does not mean I am just as ready to listen to others. I may not be easily swayed by their argument, but I will definitely respect it and try to understand it.

My personality tests were at the best amusing. Although some areas were truthful most of them were not accurate. The test of disgust was very interesting. It makes absolute sense when seen through the eyes of an anatomist.
ReplyDeleteI took the two Big Five tests, the face perception test, and the self control test. I found the Big Five tests to be pretty accurate. I agree with the results that I got. I got the opposite of the predicted results on the face perception test which confused me. The self control test was accurate. The reliability of the tests is good, but the validity is not. I scored consistently across the tests. I don't think the tests are valid because of the small amount of questions that are asked and the small range of them. Also, people can skew their results by choosing the answers that they wish described them the best rather than picking the choice that actually describes them. I found myself almost doing this multiple times.

Most of my test got the main concept of who I am, but none were exactly dead on. The last one I took on BBC was the closest to describing how I picture myself. I feel like some of the test were giving really general answers or gave me limited options so I was kind of forced to give a black and white answer, so my results were skewed. Overall, most test were reliable, but I think the BBC personality test was the most valid out of the ones i chose.

I took the Big five tests. They both gave me reasonalble results. Although I quite disagree with the result that I am extremely disagreeable and close-minded/introverted. But for the most part, the test does reflect my personality
ReplyDeleteI took the Morality Test and I found it to be fairly accurate. It was interesting to read the statements that it gave to describe my morals and personality. I might disagree with a few of the final results but I believe over all the validity of the test was pretty high. The questions were straight forward, the only thing I would change is the range of answer choices. I believe this would increase the accuracy of the answers.

I took the both Big Five quizzes, the Shyness Quiz, and the Star Wars quiz. All of them seemed pretty accurate and consistent in saying that I am neither a particularly social nor anti-social person. I guess it just depends on who I'm with at the time. All of the questions seemed to be pretty much the same on all of the tests that I took, so that would probably play a big factor in the consistency of my results.

I took the two "Big Five" quizzes, which were both very fun, and got conflicting results. In the first I received a more introverted result, while in the second I scored more outgoing. Because of this, the reliability of at least one of the test is low. I'm not sure if maybe I answered slightly different on a few key questions, but it's possible a little change in response could be resposbible.

I definitely enjoyed taking these quizzes. Both five basic trait tests gave me very similar results. I can definitely see how these results are true in my own personality. I also took the "millionaire" test in which I scored very likely to make a large amount of money. I'd like to think thats true, but who knows. Finally I took the Career test and it told me the same thing I have heard from every career assessment I taken. In general, these quizzes asked enough questions to give accurate results. The only thing is that I'm not sure answering questions about myself is the best way to do it. There are definitely areas where I think I am more (or less) of something than I really am. Merry Christmas to all and Lets Go Hoos!

These tests were very interesting, but I do not give them very much merit. I feel that all people are unique and the questions asked seem to generalize people as a whole. Also, sometimes the results get confusing and don't make any sense. These tests to me are only good time killers.

I took the two big five quizes and the shyness quiz, and they all were pretty reliable about giving similar answers. I don't think that the shyness one was all that valid about measuring shyness, but the big five ones seemed pretty accurate as to what I see myself as. I also took the spot the fake smile one and got 17 out of 20, which was sort of surprising just because in class we talked about how it was hard to read faces and stuff.

I found the tests to be fairly accurate in describing me. i only ended up taking two of the tests. one of the big five quizzes and the Are you a freak quiz. what i found when taking the tests is that the result is could almost apply to everyone who takes because the questions are very similar. it is just a matter of how you answer them and it seems as f there are only two definite results.(i think)

The tests were very interesting and addictive to take. I wish I could have taken more. Some of the tests I think had some validity and reliability, but also it can be hard to judge your own self with any real validity. Also most results can be confusing and just throw us off. These tests are no more than general fun.

I found the tests to be fairly accurate. I took both of the bug five tests and found the results to be pretty interesting. Then the shyness test i thought to be kind of off because i dont really see myself as shy. And the freak test had some interesting questions. Overall i foudn the tests to be cool because it forces you to think about aspects of your personality you wouldnt normally notice.

While these tests are entertaining, I do not think they are a very acurate measure of personality. The questions were very open ended, and people can answer them a certain way to get a desired result. They were also somewhat inconsistant, and I ended up getting different results across the board. Overall it was a fun activity, but I find the tests to be somewhat inaccurate.

I believe that, on the whole, the tests are amusing, but not that reliable, or valid. For example, I took the "How Unique Are You?" test, and was struck by my own thoughts of how I would answer these questions differently, depending on what situation I pictured myself in. As a musician, I believe that it is important to develop a unique, individual voice, so if I answered the test questions with the concept of myself as a musician, I would score higher on the scale. However, if I answered the test based on how I view society, I would score somewhere in the middle, as I think is important both to voice individual opinions, and to be able to come to a compromise instead of being trapped in a perpetual state of argumentativeness and stubbornness. Thus, the test's blatant disregard of the ways in which an individual's ideas can vary from situation to situation makes the test neither reliable nor valid.

I enjoyed taking the tests, and they gave me a nice picture of my personality, but it was just a picture: a two-dimensional (at most it was almost three-dimensional) description of my personality. I don't think that these tests are valid, but they are quite reliable, as I received several of the same answers on different quizzes.

I found these quizzes to be very interesting. The "Big Five" quizzes seem to tell my personality very well in that I am very laidback and calm in tense situations. Overall, these make me think again aboout my personality. Merry Christmas everybody! #hoosdontlose

I took the big five quiz, the Star Wars Quiz, and the freak quiz. I thought the quizzes scored my personality somewhat accurately. I though that i was a little more out going and adventurous than the freak test said. I think the test is reliable but not really valid. I think if there were more variety in the questions it would have been better.

So the tests were interesting, some of the instructions were weird. And it was very easy to pick the ones i wanted to be instead of the ones i was. But i hated the disgust one and loved the sex of the brain one.

I took big five trats and the shyness tests. These tests show the reasonable results and I agree with the shyness result that I'm the interdependent which I'm the relationship with others. These test were interesting to me.

I took the morality test, and it took forever, but it was expremely interesting, and made me think about my positions on things. I think that in a way the questions force you to make a decision even if you dont know anything about the topic, which is a little misleading, but otherwise the results seemed pretty accurate.
