Summer Reading

The Perfected Self - The Atlantic

Chances are not many of you will find this post before the school year begins.  But, if you're taking AP Psychology next fall, the article linked above is an excellent example of the topics that we'll be learning about in class.  It just came out in The Atlantic.

If you have the time to read it, take time to consider and understand the following names, terms, or concepts:
The issue of obesity in America
B.F. Skinner and operant conditioning
The "behaviorist" view of humanity
Noam Chomsky
Free Will and Choice
The role of technology in enhancing/restricting the quality of life
